The Howling Begins

June 14, 2014 – This morning Tundra began to howl at one side of the yard. The pups were on the other side & they joined in on their first howling session with Tundra. It was very beautiful to hear & Nahanni who is very quiet was joining in eagerly. Nahanni & Mahikan then ran over to where Tundra was howling & it stopped.

Around dinner time we had placed the pups in the kennel because it was raining. Tundra went over to the gate and wanted the pups out so she started to howl. Again the pups joined in with the chorus. It is going to be fun to hear them all howl together. Tundra has howled more lately & with a pack now, she should be more vocal.
